This is who we are
Born and raised in NZ, our Director Paul started his software and technology business PC Lister Limited while living in the UK.
Paul returns home and establishes PC Lister NZ Limited.
The office at Hinemoa Street, Birkenhead, is proudly opened by the sole employee of PC Lister NZ Limited (Paul).
PC Lister NZ Limited gets its second employee whose first task is to choose a trading name - Cortex is born.
Employee numbers have doubled - and a new office at Enterprise Street, Birkenhead is occupied by four people.
Still trading as Cortex, PC Lister NZ Limited is officially renamed to Cortex Limited on the NZ Companies Register.
Cortex grows by two, and now occupies two office spaces on Enterprise Street.
Outgrowing the Enterprise Street offices, the Cortex team relocate to their current office on Bush Road, Albany.
Cortex grows again and has a record team number of 13 staff.
A refreshed website is designed and published.
